About Us

Rural Awareness For Integrated Development Society

We see development of the society as whole where marginalized section are also at par. They have access to education, agricultural training etc. and become a wagon to an egalitarian society.

RURAL AWARENESSS FOR INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT SOCIETY (RAID), is a Non-Profit Organization which legally came into existence from 2002 and Registered under the Public Societies Registration Act 35 of 2001. The society was promoted by seven visionaries hailing from different walks of life, who were actively engaged in public welfare activities in their yester years. Right from its inception, RAID has been promoting social components especially in the specific thematic areas of Women Empowerment, Environment Awareness, Women Farmers Clubs, Agriculture Development, Animal Husbandry Development, Horticulture Development, Farmers Development for the marginalized population living in 10 Mandals spread across the KB Asifabad and Mancherial District respectively in Telangana State. The sole intention of this organization is to full fill the following vision and missions perceived by the promoters. RURAL AWARENESSS FOR INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT SOCIETY work has laid its emphasis primarily on the core issues of the society right from the Education to the under privileged, Environmental Education, Sustainable Livelihood, Child Rights, Community Development, Health of the communities, Empowerment to the deserving youth and women, Sustainable Agricultural practices in the rural India and of course the Disaster Management Programs

Our Programs

Agriculture training program

The Organization has conducted Agriculture Training Programs for farmers in Adilabad district of Telangana State. Agriculture is one of the major sectors of the Indian economy. It is present in the country for thousands of years. Over the years it has developed and the use of new technologies and equipment replaced almost all the traditional methods of farming. Besides, in India, there are still some small farmers that use the old traditional methods of agriculture because they lack the resources to use modern methods. Furthermore, this is the only sector that contributed to the growth of not only itself but also of the other sector of the country. The Organization was conducted Agriculture Training Programs for farmers in Adilabad district of Telangana State

Agriculture training program in Easgoan village

Our organization has conducted a program in Easgoan village under Rythu Vedika scheme, focusing on the Alternate Wet and Dry (AWD) technique to address the farmer's concern. A total of 132 farmers have actively participated in this initiative. By implementing AWD, we aim to optimize water usage in agricultural practices, enhance crop yields and promote sustainability in farming methods. This program underscores our commitment to empower rural communities and foster environmental stewardship in agriculture.

Plantation training at Bhoopalapatnam

Our organization conducted a plantation training program in Bhoopalapatnam, to educate and empower community members on tree planting techniques and environmental conservation. Participants learned about the importance of trees, proper planting methods, and maintenance practices. Through hands-on demonstrations and interactive sessions, we equipped individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to contribute to greener surroundings.

Vermi compost trading at Malini village.

Our organization conducted a vermicompost trading event in Malini village, emphasizing sustainable agricultural practices. The initiative aimed to promote the use of organic fertilizers, particularly vermicompost, among local farmers. Through this trading event, farmers were provided with access to high-quality vermicompost to enrich their soil and enhance crop productivity. The event facilitated knowledge exchange and encouraged farmers to adopt eco-friendly farming techniques for long-term soil health and agricultural sustainability.

Honey Training Program in Cheelapalyy

In collaboration with local beekeepers and experts, our organization hosted a comprehensive honey training program in Cheelapalyy. This initiative aimed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary for successful honey production and beekeeping practices. Throughout the program, attendees learned about hive management, honey extraction techniques, and quality control measures. Additionally, they gained insights into market opportunities and sustainable beekeeping practices. By empowering individuals with these valuable skills, we aim to support livelihoods and promote sustainable agriculture in the region.

Empowering Peddaband Village: Agarbatti making training program

We organized an agarbatti making training program in Peddaband village. The program, aimed to empower local residents with skills in agarbatti production, offering hands-on training sessions and guidance on manufacturing techniques. By providing this training, we aim to create opportunities for economic empowerment and entrepreneurship within the community. Participants learned about raw materials, production processes, and quality control measures, enabling them to start their own agarbatti-making businesses. This initiative contributes to skill development and livelihood enhancement in the village.
